  1. Look for consistent performance

  • High ROI over long period

  • High win rate

  • Low MDD

  • Longer history = more reliable

  • New traders may have less data

  1. Review recent performance

  • Check 7-day PnL and ROI

  • Look at monthly PnL chart

  1. Understand their strategy

  • Check position count

  • Review trade history

  • Consider their risk level

Setting Copy Ratio

  1. Start conservative

  • Begin with 0.1 - 0.5 ratio

  • Test for a few days

  • Gradually increase if comfortable

  1. Consider your capital

  • Don't use 100% of your capital

  • Keep reserves for margin calls

  • Account for leverage

  1. Match your risk tolerance

  • Conservative: 0.1 - 0.3

  • Moderate: 0.3 - 0.7

  • Aggressive: 0.7 - 1.5+

Risk Management

  1. Diversify

  • Don't copy only one trader

  • Spread across multiple traders

  • Different strategies reduce risk

  1. Monitor regularly

  • Check positions daily

  • Review performance weekly

  • Adjust as needed

  1. Set limits

  • Maximum loss per trader

  • Maximum total exposure

  • Stop loss strategies

  1. Understand leverage

  • Higher leverage = higher risk

  • Can amplify losses

  • Use appropriate leverage
